Cardiovascular Technician Job Description

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Martin North Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, assisting nurses and other caregivers during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses and other caregivers during procedures
  • Maintain adequate supplies in the lab and equipment quality controls
  • Perform scrubbing and monitoring duties during procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures and help with post-procedure care

Requirements:

  • Certificate from a cardiovascular lab technology program or school of radiology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) preferred
