Kellogg Supply Company Inc is seeking a dedicated Outdoor Customer Service Associate for our Lumber and Building Materials Yard.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and deliver lumber, building materials, and related products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.

Job Duties:

  • Quickly process customer orders and tickets.
  • Assist in constructing loads for delivery.
  • Organize and store inventory effectively.
  • Keep the work area and materials tidy.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Engage in continuous learning about products and industry practices.
  • Participate in daily opening and closing tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Positive demeanor with strong customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with building materials and sales processes; specialized knowledge in areas such as windows, doors, or decking is advantageous.
  • Forklift experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Basic math and measurement proficiency.
  • Computer skills are necessary.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is beneficial, training available.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of building products and/or sales experience is a plus.
  • Capability to handle and transport materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to remain mobile for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:
