Job Summary

This full-time Phlebotomy Technician position is available at Sonora Quest Laboratories in Casper, Wyoming. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing biological specimens, ensuring accurate patient and specimen identification, and maintaining specimen integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process biological specimens from patients
  • Verify patient and specimen information for accuracy
  • Prepare specimens for analytical testing and distribution
  • Perform specified analytical testing as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of department resources and procedures
  • Phlebotomy program or experience
  • Valid state driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
Work Environment

This position may be located within a hospital facility, patient service center, in-office phlebotomy, or mobile diagnostic services. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
