Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Breathing Disorder Therapist to join our team at Hampton Homecare. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized respiratory care plans.

About the Job:

  • Determine requirements for treatment, such as type, method, and duration of therapy, precautions, medication, and dosages, compatible with physician's orders.
  • Monitor resident's physiological responses to therapy, including vital signs, pulmonary function, and consult with physicians when indicated.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical airway management during Code Blue or Medical Assist situations, including positive pressure ventilation via bag and mask as required.
  • Participate in therapist-driven protocols for weaning residents from ventilators.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a certificate program, associate or higher degree program, in respiratory therapy.
  • Credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and licensure by the New York State Education Department as a Respiratory Therapist.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
