About the Role

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our mobile imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams
  • Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient needs
  • Process and transmit images in a timely manner according to company protocols
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Take good care of company vehicles and ensure they are well-stocked with necessary supplies
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or state x-ray license
  • Have a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends
