About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Analyst to join our team at MITRE. As a key member of our Acquisition Strategy and Management Department, you will play a critical role in providing acquisition, procurement, and contracting expertise to support our mission-critical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert-level understanding and expertise in U.S. government acquisition, procurement, and contracting across the entire Acquisition Lifecycle.
  • Create value as an independent performer, part of a team, or leading tasks/projects.
  • Construct actionable Acquisition Artifacts such as Work Statements, Acquisition Plans and Strategies, Source Selection plans and strategies, Independent Cost Estimates, Risk Management and Quality Control/Assurance plans, Solicitation Artifacts, and other acquisition and organizational planning and decisional documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently complex acquisitions-related data both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with U.S. government acquisitions across the entire Acquisition Lifecycle.
  • Must be able to demonstrate previous experience specifically with working for US government or as a Government Contractor developing work statements, completing acquisition plans, identifying source selection criteria and planning and executing market analysis.
  • Working knowledge and experience with interpreting acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR, HHSAR, etc.).
  • Ability to work as either an independent performer or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in presenting data both verbally and in writing.
  • This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a U.S. Government Contracting Officer or Contracting Specialist (FAC-C or DAWIA) or Program Office Procurement Officials (FAC-COR, FAC-P/PM or DAWIA), Certifications.
  • Candidate must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI/Polygraph, if required.
