Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our manufacturing plant's quality and regulatory compliance efforts. Your role will ensure product safety, quality, and adherence to regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventative quality systems and ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Oversee quality testing for ingredients and finished products, ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Train and develop operators on quality standards and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints effectively, providing analytical results in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with sales and plant personnel to address quality trends, issues, and opportunities.

  • Manage offspec materials, including scheduling and reworking as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of QA management experience in manufacturing, with a focus on dairy and familiarity with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Life Science or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
