Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the operating room, providing support to surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgeons and nurses during procedures
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including passing instruments and supplies
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
