The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our safety program, conducting regular audits and inspections, and providing training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, safety engineering, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CHMM, CSP, CIH, etc.).
  • Experience with safety management software and systems.
