Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for administering diagnostic tests and providing individualized treatment to adults and children for a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to adults and children for communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
Ensure compliance with TJC, federal, state, and local requirements.
Participate in the development of department policies and procedures.
Perform diagnostic clinical swallowing evaluations on a diversified patient population.
Interpret and report the results of evaluations/tests to referring physicians, therapists, and other medical staff.

Requirements:

D in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
License, Certification, Registration: Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience License - Temporary (California) required at hire.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and to utilize theories, principles, practices, techniques, and methods of Speech Therapy.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a 20-hour work week, with weekend coverage. Schedules may vary based on operational need (Sunday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm).
