Job Title: Valet Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Valet Attendant to join our team at L' Auberge Casino Hotel Baton Rouge. As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by ensuring the safe and efficient handling of their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests with their vehicles, providing a seamless and welcoming experience.
  • Accurately complete luggage tags and valet tickets, inspecting vehicles for prior damage.
  • Respond to luggage room calls and expedited car retrieval service from Casino Operations.
  • Practice lateral service by stepping out of normal job duties to help guests and coworkers when business allows.
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude with guests and coworkers, consistently practicing a sense of urgency throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to regulatory, safety, departmental, and company policies, including Department of Transportation.
  • Support safety and accident prevention programs.
  • Present oneself as a credit to the company and encourage others to do the same.
Requirements:
  • Six months' experience in a customer service field required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a driving record that meets Company requirements.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid state responsible vendor permit.
  • Must be able to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions in a safe fashion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills, with fluency and literacy in English.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to lift up to 80 lbs., and work outside with varying temperatures.
