We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Foreman to oversee and coordinate the activities of our construction team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all projects are executed in alignment with established designs, budgets, and timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and quality, with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the overall construction efforts to guarantee adherence to project specifications, financial plans, and scheduled timelines. Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Plan and sequence construction activities, ensuring that all necessary resources are available for upcoming tasks. Communicate effectively with team members regarding priorities and schedules.
- Select appropriate materials that meet project specifications and comply with relevant building codes.
- Assign tasks to team members, providing clear instructions and monitoring the execution of work to ensure compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct inspections of work performed by staff and subcontractors to verify adherence to specifications.
- Train new employees on equipment usage, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of time and materials, completing necessary documentation for clients.
- Keep precise time sheets and daily reports to track project progress.
- Communicate potential issues or scheduling conflicts to project management and assist in resolving these challenges.
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Care for and maintain company equipment properly.
- Foster a cooperative and respectful work atmosphere among team members.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project goals.
