People and Culture Division:

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Director of People and Culture (DPC) who will lead the transformation of our Human Resources division into a People and Culture division, aimed at enhancing employee engagement, fostering inclusivity, and bolstering our organizational resilience.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in crafting progressive human resource strategies within rapidly evolving environments, adeptly merging strategic planning with exceptional interpersonal skills and a steadfast commitment to social justice.
In this pivotal role, the DPC will collaborate closely with the team to cultivate a united and empowered workforce that aligns with CASA Inc.'s mission. They will ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards through effective HR policies. The DPC will oversee talent acquisition, employee development, conflict resolution, and initiatives related to Racial Justice, Equity, and Inclusion (RJEI), along with cultural programs designed to support our staff.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct all facets of a typical human resources division with a focus on people-centric strategies.
- Oversee and evaluate ongoing progress of Objective Key Results (OKRs) at all levels, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
- Align people and culture initiatives with organizational objectives while anticipating future talent requirements.
- Manage organizational transformation and drive cultural change in accordance with strategic goals.
- Collaborate across departments and with the leadership team to synchronize people and cultural strategies with broader organizational aims.
- Utilize data analytics to guide decision-making and assess the effectiveness of initiatives, providing insightful recommendations to senior leadership.

Operational Management and Employee Development:
- Design and implement training programs and workshops to enhance awareness and competencies.
- Develop and enforce human resource policies tailored to the organization's needs.
- Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring high-quality and accessible benefits for all staff.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Monitor metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of various initiatives and identify areas for enhancement.
- Implement strategies to boost employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
- Skilled in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top talent while fostering high-performance among employees.
- Design performance evaluation systems that encourage constructive feedback and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Handle sensitive employee and organizational matters with professionalism and integrity.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit organization's Human Resources division.
- Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual or trilingual proficiency preferred (English, Spanish, French).
- Experience in a nonprofit organization, particularly in a leadership capacity within human resources, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of racial justice, gender justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google workspaces.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and transparency.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in addressing challenges.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated passion for progressive values and advocacy for marginalized communities.
