Poolside Server

Job Title: Poolside/Tennis Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a vibrant and professional individual to join our team at Laredo Country Club as a Poolside/Tennis Server. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and make recommendations to members and guests.
• Learn members' names and their special preferences to provide personalized service.
• Knowledge of wines and spirits, and be able to make recommendations to members and guests.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations.

Job Tasks/Duties:

• Set up side station and perform assigned side (prep) work.
• Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
• Ensure that children are in the appropriate type of seat and are safe and secure.
• Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.
• Serve food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, and offer suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.
• Place orders with kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Assemble food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
• Serve meals; place dishes by courses in front of each person.
• Check back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenish water or refreshments as necessary.
• Remove soiled dishes. Clear tables after each service and reset them with appropriately.
• Keep dining room and bus station areas clean.

Licenses and Special Requirements:

• Food safety certification.
• Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Texas Alcoholic beverage certification.
• Valid Driver License or Identification Card
