  • Communicate with customers regarding parts status and provide timely updates.
  • Collaborate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Utilize the parts catalog to locate and verify parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts are ordered and pricing is accurate.
  • Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy and notify the parts manager of any discrepancies.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization, as necessary.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in auto parts sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts and percentages.
