Job Summary:The Clinical Research Nurse C is responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical trials, ensuring the safety and well-being of research participants, and maintaining the integrity of the research process. This role requires strong clinical nursing skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of research ethics.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and implement clinical trials, including participant recruitment, informed consent, and data collection
- Ensure the safety and well-being of research participants, including monitoring for adverse events and reporting to the Principal Investigator
- Maintain accurate and complete records of research participant data and study procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Develop and implement strategies to improve research participant engagement and retention
- Participate in the development and implementation of research protocols and study procedures
- Contribute to the development of educational materials and training programs for research staff and participants
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in clinical research nursing or a related field
- Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support Certification (CPR) required; ACLS preferred
- Effective communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical nursing skills, with ability to assess and manage research participant care
