Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Design Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. As a member of our dynamic group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our next-generation Apple products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methodologies and solutions that have a high impact on upcoming products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, power, post-silicon, CAD, software, and machine learning teams.
  • Use your expertise in physical design and machine learning to solve complex problems and ensure optimal Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) for our SOCs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Understanding of optimization algorithms, complex data structures, and linear algebra.
  • Understanding of VLSI fundamentals, including physical design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical experience and knowledge in advanced machine learning algorithms like GNNs, VAEs, transformers, diffusion models, LLMs.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++.

We offer a competitive salary range of $143,100 - $264,200 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and reimbursement for educational expenses.
