Position Overview

The Cashier plays a vital role in the food and beverage sector by managing transactions and providing excellent service. This position involves preparing and serving food items to patrons, as well as pouring and delivering beverages. Maintaining high standards of food presentation is essential. Consistent attendance is crucial for success in this role.

This position offers an hourly wage of $14.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales transactions by accurately entering orders and completing payments.
  • Maintain inventory levels and inform the Concession Stand Manager of any low stock items.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of utensils.
  • Serve beverages, including alcoholic options, responsibly, verifying guest identification as required by law.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety regulations in the work area.
  • Assist in various tasks as needed throughout the venue.
  • Complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred experience of three months or more in the food service industry.
  • Previous experience handling cash is advantageous.
  • Ability to learn cash handling procedures and operate a cash register.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive demeanor with colleagues, supervisors, and guests.
