Job Overview

**Job Summary:**

As a Level I Maintenance Technician at Southwire Company, LLC, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations by providing corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Your focus will be on improving equipment reliability and maintainability, ensuring seamless production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform routine preventive tasks, including cleaning, inspection, and minor service or overhaul, to maintain equipment efficiency and extend its lifespan.
  • Replace identified parts or components that have failed, and adjust equipment to bring it into operational specifications, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain machinery lubrication requirements, and recommend process or procedure changes based on observed equipment behavior to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Accurately maintain current and historical maintenance data to inform future maintenance requirements and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge, with the ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
  • 2-year technical degree desired, with a minimum of 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience or comparable skills demonstration.
