Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide personalized care to patients, including hygiene and daily living assistance, meal preparation, and accompaniment to medical and therapeutic appointments.
  • Medical Needs: Assist nurses with medical treatments, provide support during therapies, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Professional Development: Maintain specialized training and certifications, and participate in ongoing education and professional growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in hospital, recreational, or therapeutic settings preferred
  • Educational background in medical, recreational, or therapeutic fields
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with children
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking, with ability to lift, push, or pull 30 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive
  • One year probationary period
  • References required
