**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Collision Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning and executing efficient repair processes, and ensuring high-quality repairs are completed on time.

**Responsibilities**

  • Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage and develop a repair plan
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Perform quality repairs while maintaining a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Make decisions regarding repair vs. replacement, considering safety, cost, and cycle time
  • Remove and reinstall upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to the vehicle and fenders
  • Participate in required safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools
  • Supervise and train apprentices as needed, explaining procedures and providing guidance

**Qualifications**

  • Certification in body repair is preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer
  • I-CAR welding certification
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data
  • Supervisory skills to lead repair personnel

**Location and Job Type**

This is a regular full-time position based in Bedford Heights, OH, with a priority tier 1. The job does not involve remote work.

**Estimated Salary**

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000, based on national averages for collision repair specialists in the United States.
