We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Title Examiner to join our team at the Illinois Secretary of State. As an Intermittent Cashier, you will be responsible for processing various vehicle title and registration applications, ensuring accurate validation of fees and applications, and issuing license plates, stickers, and ID cards to the public.

Job Summary
  • Determine proper classifications and fees for various transactions involving motor vehicles
  • Verify information received on applications for vehicle titles and/or registration
  • Check for appropriate supporting documents and return inaccurate or incomplete applications
  • Balance validation machine totals with total sales

This is a part-time opportunity with a starting pay rate of $19.65 per hour. Preference will be given to Illinois residents in the hiring and selection process.
