Job Title: Construction Technician

In the construction industry, a Construction Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of various projects. This includes installing posters and bulletins as well as performing maintenance tasks to the physical structure and surrounding property.


  • The ability to climb without restrictions is essential for this position, with a requirement to reach heights of up to 125 feet multiple times daily.
  • Working from elevated platforms up to 125 feet in height for up to 70% of the workday is also necessary.
  • Lifting weights up to 100 pounds without restrictions or limitations is required through demonstrated safe lifting practices.
  • A working knowledge of an oxygen/acetylene torch and AC/DC welder are also necessary skills.
  • Safely operating gas-powered equipment such as lawn mowers, chain saws, generators, compressors, paint sprayers, etc. is essential.
  • Possessing a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles is required.
  • Utilizing all safety-related equipment without exception as mandated by Adams Outdoor Advertising operating procedures is mandatory.
  • Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing are necessary.
  • A full range of motion is required to install and maintain posters and bulletin signage.
  • Meeting maximum weight restrictions of 265 pounds due to manufacturer requirements on safety-related equipment used to work in elevated environments is crucial.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions when necessary and tolerate the risk of exposure associated with an outdoor environment is essential.
  • Complying and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines without exception is mandatory.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor is also necessary.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School or equivalent degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external clients and internal personnel at all levels.
  • High adaptability to changing work environments.
  • Must be able to travel as required.
  • Must prioritize and execute tasks and assignments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
