Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing computerized tomographic procedures, preparing patients, and administering contrast media and medications as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Nuclear Medicine Tech credentialed from NMTCB or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from ARRT required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
- Perform computerized tomographic procedures according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed.
- Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities.
This position requires working in a fast-paced hospital environment with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials.
