This role requires a foundational understanding of electrical power monitoring principles and a basic knowledge of networking equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

EPMS Installation and Configuration:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Schneider Electric PME software components.
  • Implement security measures and protect EPMS systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot communication issues with equipment in the field.

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor EPMS system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to PME software, hardware, or network connectivity.
  • Apply software patches and updates as needed.
  • Provide technical support to end-users.

Networking Fundamentals:

  • Understand basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, routing, and switching.
  • Configure network settings for EPMS components to ensure proper communication.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to address network-related issues that impact EPMS performance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze electrical power data using PME software to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Generate service reports and dashboards to provide insights into energy consumption and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with electrical power monitoring systems.
  • Proficiency in Schneider Electric PME software.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Certification in electrical engineering or a related field.
