We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic testing to patients of all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist, Director of Imaging Services, and Department Manager, you will deliver diagnostic testing to patients of all age groups.
  • You will utilize radiographic equipment and technique to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Perform mammography and other related imaging and procedures, including needle localization, bone density, aspiration biopsy, and stereotactic biopsy.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
  • Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Perform Quality Control functions required to comply with MQSA guidelines.
  • Assist in competency testing and orientation of staff assigned at the Center.
  • Oversee the Accreditation process for ACR and MQSA.

Requirements

  • Current State of Florida license
  • Current ARRT registry in Mammography
  • AHA Healthcare provider BLS
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • English verbal and written fluency
