Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Coast Medical Service is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team at JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Conduct imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRI scans, and X-rays.
  • Review and analyze imaging results, identifying any abnormalities or areas of concern.
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
