Cherry Hill Programs is a leading provider of holiday and souvenir experiences for children and families. We partner with retail locations, tourist attractions, and destinations across North America to bring magic to every experience.
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Local Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will work closely with our Local Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, upholding our core values and policies.
- Assist with preparations for the opening day, including hiring completion, inventory management, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling, and training.
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery.
- Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management, scheduling, training, and recruiting.
- All other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions.
- The ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
- Professional attire and good hygiene are a must.
- Availability to attend mandatory pre-season training.
- Flexibility and willingness to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed.
Knowledge, Experience & Skill:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
