CSEngineering is seeking a Logistics Support Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in facilitating the Enterprise Logistics Flight Plan, which includes preparing and delivering presentations to key stakeholders.
CLIENT INSIGHT
Our client, AFGSC (Air Force Global Strike Command), is tasked with the organization, training, and equipping of global nuclear and conventional strike forces. This includes oversight of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and various bomber forces. AFGSC has undergone significant transitions to enhance its operational capabilities, necessitating the development of comprehensive guidance and training materials to support its mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following outlines the primary responsibilities associated with this position:
- Assist in command activities related to the Air Force Enterprise Logistics Governance (ELG) to support the Enterprise Logistics Flight Plan, including preparation of group presentations.
- Act as the principal Action Officer and Air Force point of contact for the Logistics Ability to Survive and Operate (LATSO) initiative, collaborating with various commands to establish effective guidance and procedures.
- Coordinate inputs and organize presentations for the AFGSC Global Strike Health and Operations Board, integrating information from multiple command initiatives.
- Lead briefings with senior leadership to strategize and implement initiatives, including preparatory meetings for Logistics Council and Working Group discussions.
- Draft and disseminate guidance on behalf of leadership to articulate priorities and initiatives within the command.
- Support the formulation of headquarters directives and policies.
- Prepare comprehensive briefings, reports, and documentation for the A4 Directorate, including materials for General Officer presentations.
- Contribute to the development of response plans and instructions in compliance with DOD and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide additional technical and programmatic support as needed by AFGSC/A4.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Security Clearance: Secret
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in aircraft or ICBM Logistics, Maintenance, or Sustainment.
- Possession of a DoD Secret clearance based on a SSBI completed within the last five years.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Over 15 years of experience in aircraft or ICBM Logistics, Maintenance, or Sustainment.
- Experience at the Air Force Headquarters or NAF level.
