Controller Position in Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead our accounting team at Tempositions, Inc.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About Us:

Tempositions, Inc. is a privately held service organization dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients. As a Senior Manager of Accounting, you will play a key role in driving the success of our company by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end closings and ensure timely completion of financial statements
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes to drive business growth
  • Manage WIP accounting, progress billings, and revenue accounting support
  • Install treasury accounting and banking systems to optimize liquidity reporting
  • Support project accounting and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure internal controls are established and adherence to audit requirements
  • Oversee operational accounting and staff management (AP & AR)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in project-based accounting industries (technology, service, construction)
  • Viewpoint/Vista Trimble or an ERP system is a plus
  • Excellent leadership experience to manage, hire, and mentor staff
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Able to work in the office 5 days a week
