The Counseling Center, a leading national substance abuse and mental health organization, is expanding its Intensive Outpatient Counseling program. We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our team.

Compensation

Job Description

We offer a rewarding career in mental health services. As a Counselor, you will provide direct patient care, conduct initial assessments, and develop treatment plans.

  1. New patient intake and orientation
  2. Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
  3. Conducts individual sessions
  4. Facilitates groups with patients
  5. Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA
  6. Provides Case Management
  7. Provides tours for prospective patients and their families as requested.
  8. Documentation in patient medical record
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Must have one of the following: LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW
  • Mental Health license or certification, clean and active
  • New graduates welcome
  • Experience conducting group sessions
Schedule

This full-time position requires a flexible schedule with working hours from 1PM - 9:30PM.
