Executive Director

BUDDYS HOME FURNISHING is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our branch location. As the leader of the store, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional, and profitable operations.

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
• Manage and maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
• Oversee and direct store operations, including inventory management and cash handling
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to meet business objectives
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with corporate support to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop and implement plans to meet sales and revenue goals
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and associates

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing, or management
• Two years' experience in retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, or merchandising
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, load, move, and use a dolly for merchandise 50-300 pounds

The Executive Director will work in a retail environment, with frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs. The position requires prolonged driving and working in a variety of climates and weather conditions.
