Job Title: Nurse Specialist - Orthopedic Unit

We invite you to join our dynamic team at Methodist Hospital Texsan as a Nurse Specialist on our Orthopedic unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients with orthopedic conditions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promote patient education and empowerment through personalized support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical assessments and therapeutic procedures.
  • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and provide post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

What You'll Need:

  • Active RN license in Texas or compact state.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of RN experience in orthopedics or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
