Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team at The Lodge at Saginaw. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional post-acute care rehabilitation experiences to our patients.

About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Texas
  • Graduate of a Speech Language Program from an accredited university
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care regulations and general healthcare compliance
