Job Description

The RN Recovery Specialist is responsible for providing direct patient care in the pre-operative environment. Key responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medication, collecting specimens, and documenting patient care in Med-Host, Nextgen, and Exit Care EMR systems.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree with relevant experience
  • Current unrestricted State of Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent time management skills. Additionally, proficiency in navigating complex software systems and strong communication skills are essential.
