Job Summary

Vestcom International is seeking a skilled Press Assistant to join our team. As a Press Assistant, you will be responsible for packaging, handling, and palletizing products off press to meet customer expectations. You will also assist in the make-ready, running, maintenance, and clean-up of a flexographic press. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with a leading company in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the manufacture of a quality product that meets and exceeds customer expectations and consistently meets product specifications.
Learn and retain all QA/QC procedures and follow them consistently.
Support and assist the press operator in meeting and exceeding production goals for the current fiscal year.
Work consistently and efficiently with minimum disruptions and follow through on responsibilities, assignments, and instructions.
Assist with make-ready and the start-up of running jobs and learn and retain the names of all machine components along with their proper functions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, use required PPE, and follow all safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
At least six (6) months experience as a Press Assistant required.
Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom's core values.
