Athens Health and Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned work areas, including resident rooms, common areas, and equipment, according to established policies and procedures.
  • Dust, damp wipe, spot clean, wash, sanitize, and polish all fixtures, furnishings, and furniture in resident rooms, including TVs, radios, pictures, feeding tables, light fixtures, shelves, chairs, tables, beds, and bed frames.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Housekeeping to ensure that cleaning schedules are met and that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge in areas such as infection control, safety procedures, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the essential job functions, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
