Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Harlem, near Upper Manhattan & Yankee Stadium. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our psychiatric nurse practitioner to provide high-quality patient care.

Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our psychiatric nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Work in a community health setting with Open Access hours, same-day appointments, and walk-in availability.
  • Serve a client population with complex needs, including HIV, HCV, heart disease, lung disease, and severe mental illness.
  • Prioritize patient safety and well-being in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Psychiatry or relevant specialty.
  • Experience working in community health settings, particularly with underserved populations.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (ECW preferred).
  • Knowledge of addiction medicine and harm reduction principles a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus.
