We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to join our team at Stark State College. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings, offices, and classrooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain building cleanliness, including floors, windows, walls, fixtures, restrooms, ceilings, furniture, whiteboards, trash, and recycling removal.
  • Perform routine light maintenance, room set-ups, and moving furniture.
  • Replace light bulbs, perform painting, carpet repair, and floor care (buffing, stripping, and waxing).
  • Use environmentally approved products and equipment.
  • Assist with building repair, painting, repair, carpet repair, floor stripping, and waxing.
  • Support grounds, maintenance, and shipping/receiving areas as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to frequently carry up to 25 lbs. and lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10-hour OSHA Certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
