About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Strategic ERP Procurement Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional procurement solutions. This is a pivotal role that requires a deep understanding of ERP systems, strategic thinking, and outstanding leadership skills.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the discovery, current state analysis, requirements gathering, and future state definition of our clients' financial management systems modernization as a procurement function subject matter expert.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert in Cloud ERP Procurement and Sourcing, advising clients on solution architecture, best practices, and process optimizations.
  • Leading the development of detailed functional and technical documentation of client enterprise procurement functions to ensure seamless integration and alignment with client-specific requirements and operational needs for future modernization.
  • Leading and supporting multiple discovery workshops with diverse groups of client procurement stakeholders to understand existing procurement processes and systems and unmet needs/requirements.
  • Using expertise to support discovery and analysis of existing procurement technologies and processes and identifying areas for process improvement that align with current ERP financial management systems.
  • Collaborating closely with other Guidehouse functional discovery teams to align Procurement processes and technologies with broader Financial Management needs.
  • Providing hands-on leadership in analyzing existing processes and technologies to optimize client procurement functions.
  • Serving as the primary advisor and trusted consultant to clients regarding Procurement functional area, building strong relationships and delivering high-quality consulting services.
  • Conducting workshops, presentations, and other sessions to educate clients on Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities and facilitate effective adoption and utilization of Procurement and Sourcing functionalities.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • A minimum of SEVEN (7) years of experience with ERP implementations and consulting, with a strong focus on ERP Procurement and related functions.
  • Experience leading discovery and requirements gathering for the procurement process function.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience on Cloud ERP solutions implementation, specifically in Procurement, and related functions.
  • An understanding of Vendor Management.
  • Professional ERP and/or financial certification is nice to have but not required.
