Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Services: Process prescriptions through insurance with attention to detail, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with federal and state regulations.">
  • Insurance Management: Assist in navigating prescription insurance billing and prior authorization requirements.">
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the proper person if you are not able to assist them. Communicate effectively with patients and prescribers to resolve issues and fulfill requests.">
  • Team Collaboration: Proactively support pharmacy team members with general duties including point of sale, shipping, and inventory management.">

Requirements:

  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Louisiana.">
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with pharmacy management software.">
  • Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary ($45,000 - $60,000 per year), health insurance (some plans up to 90% coverage), dental, vision, LTD/STD disability, life, paid time off (sick, vacation, holidays), bonus program, 401k match, fully vested immediately, mentorship, and coaching.">
