Position Summary

The Financial Reporting Department at Toyota is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Financial Reporting Intern.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in learning and supporting the financial reporting functions for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA).
  • Participate in the Month-End close process, including generating reports for internal use.
  • Contribute to various ad hoc tasks and ongoing projects within the financial reporting team.
  • Help administer monthly and quarterly fluctuation analyses.
  • Support auditors by providing necessary documentation.
  • Update desk procedures and relevant policies as needed.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited MBA, master's degree, or undergraduate program in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Available for full-time work during the summer term.
  • Must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Strong initiative and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and email correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with SAP and BPC is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to adapt to changes while challenging existing processes.
  • Experience in collaborative work across various organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills to help achieve business objectives.
