Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living tasks.
  • Encourage Independence: Help individuals develop skills and independence in areas such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals, helping them build meaningful relationships and connections.
  • Assist with Behavioral Challenges: Support individuals who may exhibit behavioral challenges, using positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies to promote calm and safety.
