Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Optimization Specialist to join our team at Industrial Resource Group in Palmyra, NC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in reliability engineering and be able to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. The Reliability Optimization Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies, conduct data analysis, and lead root cause investigations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Reliability Engineering role. Previous experience in manufacturing settings is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies to improve equipment effectiveness and reduce downtime
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to assess equipment performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify and address underlying issues affecting reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain accurate records of reliability data, analyses, and improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Reliability Engineering role
  • Previous experience in manufacturing settings
