About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Transition Nurse Specialist to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients in the step-down unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.">
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.">
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.">
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.">

Requirements

  • Current RN license.">
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility).">
  • Two years of recent Step Down experience.">
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.">
