Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

At MARSHWOOD CENTER, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, working collaboratively with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
