About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as an Associate Professor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic evaluation and treatment of patients with psychological disorders in a primary care setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians to provide team-based care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Design and implement health promotion and disease prevention interventions, as well as support patient self-management skills.
  • Supervise behavioral health trainees, including graduate students, psychology interns, post-doctoral fellows, and pre-licensure psychologists.
  • Participate in quality improvement and practice transformation initiatives, workflow modification, and the identification and deployment of new efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • Completion of an accredited postdoctoral program with sufficient clinical hours to be licensed as a clinical psychologist.
  • Ability to obtain Colorado state licensure as a psychologist and credentialing through the University of Colorado Health system.
  • Experience with integrated team-based care, particularly in a primary care setting, and expertise in motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinic faculty and staff.
