Oakes Auto Group is seeking a highly skilled General Motors Certified Master Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
* Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
* Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
* Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide estimates for repairs

**Requirements:**

* 4+ years of service technician experience preferred
* General Motors Certification
* High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
* B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
* Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
* Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
* Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
