Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and their pets, vendors, and other visitors to our medical office
  • Educate clients on the importance of preventative care
  • Answer patient questions, provide assistance, and directions when necessary
  • Field all phone calls and send emails
  • Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
  • Register new patients and update necessary records
  • Checking in and out clients/patients
  • Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
  • Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, organized, and welcoming
  • Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
  • Be willing and comfortable learning and performing medical and office procedures

Requirements
  • Physical ability to lift, restrain, and move 50-pound animals on your own
  • Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time
  • Ability to stand, reach, and bend on a regular and consistent basis
