Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will engage in sales, customer service, and the management of freight requirements for your clients. Your role will involve:

  • Collaborating with carrier partners and shippers to oversee the complete lifecycle of shipments.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.
  • Managing the logistics of clients' goods to ensure timely and safe delivery.
  • Acting as the primary liaison among clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
  • Conducting contract negotiations to maintain competitive pricing.
  • Working with team members on pricing strategies and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Performing a high volume of outreach to build a robust client portfolio.
  • Staying informed about market trends and technological advancements through ongoing training.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or at least 4 years of sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to travel as necessary to meet with clients.
  • Proven customer service capabilities.
  • A self-motivated and sales-driven mindset.
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to work within a team.
  • The capacity to work in person at designated locations.

Prior sales experience is advantageous, and operational experience in the logistics or 3PL sector is a plus.
